			Welcome to the Peninsula Cystic Fibrosis Network Web Site

			The Peninsula Cystic Fibrosis Network is the coming together of six main hospitals within the South West. Derriford Hospital in plymouth, The Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital in Exeter, The Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro, Torbay Hospital, North Devon District Hospital in Barnstaple and the Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton.



			The aim of the network is to combine the knowledge and experience contained within the Cystic Fibrosis services' at the individual hospitals to provide you with a more efficient and friendly Cystic Fibrosis service. With the clear goal of providing the you with the best possible service. This web site aims to provide you with as much information as possible about Cystic Fibrosis. The effects it can have on the body, the additional problems which may arise and some of the various methods of treatments we use in the network.

			Please do not be alarmed by anything you may read on this site. If you have any questions regarding the information you see, please ask a member of staff the next time you are in clinic. They will be more than happy to help explain.

			The Peninsula CF team acknowledges the use of guidelines produced by The CF Trust, Manchester, Papworth, Leeds and Brompton CF teams during development of these local Peninsula protocols and guidelines.
